Post Your Website Everywhere
Listing your domain name on all your other forms of advertising is a great way to expand your advertising dollars. More information than you can imagine can be posted on your website without significantly increasing the cost. However, the more information you ad to a newspaper or telephone directory, the more expensive it usually is. So, if you want to “expand” your content on a traditional mode of advertisement and stretch your advertising dollars, then post your website address on as many forms of advertising as possible. After viewing your newspaper ad, for example, your advertising dollars are being stretched when your customers look up your website and learn more about it. If they take the time to look up the site, there’s a good chance you will get a lead.
List your domain name on your vehicle, business cards, job signs, all newspaper and yellow page ads, on your hats, t-shirts and other free give-aways. Be sure to place it on the signature line of all your emails. There’s not a better, less expensive mode of advertising available. And do not hesitate to throw away the old stock that doesn’t have your website listed; we recently had a customer tell us that they purposely avoid businesses that do not have websites. This is because your presence on the web is a sign that you care about your image and are serious about marketing your business.
